Subsequent Work: Notes

- Install double clutch transmission.

- Maintenance of vehicle data (Only for model year 2017)
- 2.1 Connect PIWIS Tester and switch on ignition.
- 2.2 Start the diagnostic application.
- 2.3 Select Additional menu by pressing F7.
- 2.4 Select the Maintenance of vehicle data function. Press F12 until PR numbers appears in the Value group column.
- 2.5 SP7 - Repair data record for main transmission must be selected. Press F12 to continue.
- 2.6 Save the values by pressing F8. Wait until the message Modified values have been buffered appears.
- 2.7 Press F12 to switch to Log management. Open the log by pressing F10 and check that vehicle equipment SP7 - Repair data record for main transmission is displayed.
- Program the transmission.
- 3.1 In the overview, select the required PDK control unit.
- 3.2 Coding/programming must be selected.
- 3.3 Automatic programming must now be selected. (The DME and transmission control units are then programmed and coded.)
- 3.4 Switch ignition off and then on again.
- 3.5 In the overview, select the required PDK control unit.
- 3.6 Select the Maintenance/repairs menu.
- 3.7 Select Calibration. (Read the warnings and test prerequisites displayed on the Tester.)
- 3.8 Set the engine and transmission to the specified nominal values shown on the PIWIS Tester.
- 3.9 Perform calibration.
- Perform a test drive.
