Installing PORSCHE Double-Clutch Transmission

- Check whether input shaft is fitted with a circlip on the double-clutch shaft splines. If not:
- Mount transmission on engine.
- 2.1 Deactivate parking lock.
- 2.2 Fit transmission and mount it on the engine by turning the output shaft.
- 2.3 Activate parking lock.
- Secure transmission on the engine.
- Tighten screws.
- 4.1 Tighten screws -1- to -4- in the specified tightening sequence > Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) + > Torque angle 60°
- 4.2 Tighten screws -6-
to -9-
in the specified tightening sequence > Initial tightening 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)
+ > Torque angle 105°
Tightening sequence for transmission flange
- For all-wheel drive vehicles:
- 5.1 Replace circlip -1- and O-ring -2- on input flange on four wheel final drive.
- 5.2 Install connecting shaft -3-

Using impact puller 9799
- 5.2.1 Fit connecting shaft -3- on the all-wheel final drive and install using > 9799 - impact puller-1-Arrow- .
- 5.3 Check installation position of the connecting shaft -1-
. The connecting shaft is fitted correctly if the groove -2-
is visible.

- 5.4 Remove > 9799 - impact puller from the connecting shaft.
- The remaining installation steps are performed in reverse order.
