Removing 48-Volt Auxiliary Battery

48-volt additional battery

  1. Pull off both terminal caps -1-  on the 48-volt additional battery.

    Removing accessories on 48-volt additional battery

  2. Screw off fastening nuts -2-  for the battery terminals and remove the two lines.
  3. If installed, press the battery venting -3-  on the 48-volt additional battery together at the connection and pull it off.
  4. Release and disconnect electric connector -6-  on the 48-volt additional battery.
  5. Set the air duct aside.

  6. Unscrew the four fastening screws -4-  for the securing frame -5-  for the additional battery and remove it.

    Removing 48-volt additional battery

  7. Prise 48-volt additional battery out of the boot floor plate.
