Installing Drive Shaft

- Replace shaft sealing ring in the final drive
> Refer to the appropriate Service information for Removing and installing sealing ring for output flange
- Replace circlip -1-
on the drive shaft.

- Make sure not to damage the sealing ring when guiding the drive shaft into the final drive.
- Check that the profile splines on the drive shaft and transmission side interlock securely!
- The use of an impact tool is not permitted.

Fitting drive shaft into final drive
- Check that the joint is seated correctly in the final drive.
- 4.1 Hold the joint with both hands and pull outwards.
- 4.2 If the drive shaft can only be pulled out again using considerable force, the drive shaft is fitted correctly.
- 4.3 Press the drive shaft back into the final drive if necessary.
