Install rear cardan shaft.

Install exhaust system.

Positioning air spring bellows in trailing arm
- The air spring bellows may only be filled if it was already positioned correctly in the trailing arm (to do this, lift lower trailing arm using lifting equipment) > Positioning air spring bellows in trailing arm .
- Align air spring bellows with groove -2- at the lug -3- of the trailing arm.
Install coil spring or inflate air spring.

> 430117 BLEEDING AND FILLING THE LEVELLING SYSTEM
Install brake calliper on both sides of the vehicle.
> 474119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR BRAKE CALLIPER
If the rear axle housing was replaced: Tighten axle nut -1- on both sides of the vehicle. Operate the brake while doing this (2nd mechanic required) > Tightening torque 460 Nm (340 ftlb.)

Applies only to vehicles with PDCC: Start the 48 V vehicle electrical system.

Only for PHEV vehicles: Fill in coolant and bleed the cooling system.

Perform suspension alignment.
