Checking Fuel System (Leak-Testing)

  1. Spray all connection points of the high-pressure pump with commercially available leak-locating spray and check for pressure gas leaks (air bubbles).
  2. If the pressure drops even though the threaded connections are perfect: 

    Spray all components of the fuel high-pressure system with leak-locating spray and check for pressure gas leaks (air bubbles).

  3. If the pressure drops even though the fuel high-pressure system is perfect: 

    Spray all test tools with leak-locating spray and check for pressure gas leaks (air bubbles).

  4. Fix the leak and repeat the leak test.
