Preliminary Work

NOTE: Incorrect handling of tools

Risk of damage to the body
→ Only use tools approved by Porsche.

→ Always ensure that the tool is seated correctly.

→ Protect the body and interior of the vehicle from damage with protective covers.

→ Cover delicate components with cardboard or sheetmetal panels.

Remove belt tensioner (air-conditioning compressor).

Remove ATF cooling line (front section).
> WM, 386219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ATF COOLING LINE (FRONT SECTION)

Remove deflection roller for V-belt (air-conditioning compressor).

3.1 Unclip cover on deflection roller -1- .

3.2 Unscrew screw -1- and remove deflection roller for V-belt (air-conditioning compressor) -2- .

Prepare tool > T40330 - Brace .
1. 4.1 Fit adapter T40330/2 -2- on counter-hold tool T40330/1 -1- .
2. 4.2 Fit and tighten screws -3- .
