Subsequent Work

Only for installing cylinder head cover on right cylinder bank:
1. 1.1 Install tank vent valve.
  > Removing and installing tank vent valve (V6 monoturbo)
2. 1.2 Install the high-pressure pump.
  For V6 biturbo:
  
  > Removing and installing high-pressure pump (V6 biturbo)
  
  For V6 monoturbo:
  
  > Removing and installing high-pressure pump
Fit holder for solenoid valves -1- .
1. 2.1 Fit holder -1- .
2. 2.2 Screw on nuts on holder -3- and tighten to > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) .
3. 2.3 Insert solenoid valves -2- in holder -1- .

Holder for solenoid valves
Only for installing cylinder head cover on left cylinder bank:
1. 3.1 Install oil mist separator.
  > Removing and installing oil mist separator (V6 Turbo)
2. 3.2 Install brake booster vacuum pump.
  > Removing and installing brake booster vacuum pump
Insert lower part of sound insulation.
Fit main wire harness in engine compartment.
> Loosening and securing main wire harness in engine compartment
Install solenoid hydraulic valves for valve lift adjustment.
> Removing and installing solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift adjustment (V6 Turbo)
Install fuel injectors.
> Removing and installing fuel injector
Fit timing chain on the camshafts.
> Removing and installing timing chain (V6 Turbo)
