- New electric lines are secured at the mounting points for the old electric lines.
- The damaged electric wire harness remains installed in the vehicle.
- The damaged electric wire harness is only disconnected directly at connected components.

- Do not damage the insulation on the optical waveguides during installation.

The range of spare parts available for optical waveguides depends on equipment. There is a specific set containing the individual optical waveguides to suit the equipment in the vehicle.
Select the required optical waveguide and remove it from the set.
- Insulate damaged optical waveguide and tie it to the main wire harness.
- Secure new optical waveguide to main wire harness.

- 2.1 Release locking lugs -arrows- and open cable duct -1- .
- 2.2 Secure new optical waveguide to main wire harness.
- 2.3 Close cable duct -1- .
- Secure new optical waveguide to main wire harness.
Cable duct
- 3.1 Release locking lugs -arrows- and open cable duct -1- .
- 3.2 Secure new optical waveguide to main wire harness.
- 3.3 Close cable duct -1- .
- Tie new optical waveguide to main wire harness.

- 4.1 Release locking lugs -arrows- and open cable duct -1- .
- 4.2 Secure new optical waveguide to main wire harness.
- 4.3 Close cable duct -1- .
