Preliminary Work

Information 

Expose main wire harness only as far as required until the new optical waveguide can be attached to the main wire harness.

1. Loosen carpet at the right.

   > 704119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CARPET

2. Remove heating/fresh-air fan motor.

   WM, 853019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEATER/FRESH-AIR BLOWER MOTOR

3. Remove rear seat at the rear right.

   > 724819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SEAT

4. Release and disconnect electric plug connections on Surround View camera control unit.

   > 917219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SURROUND VIEW CAMERA CONTROL UNIT
