Preliminary Work
- Remove front-axle support (front section).
> Remove and install front-axle support
- Remove stabilizer mount.
> Remove and install anti-roll bar mount
- Remove engine mount at the left and right.
> Remove and install engine mount
- Remove heat shield for high-pressure pump.
> Remove and install high-pressure pump (V6 Turbo)
- Remove front trim (engine compartment).
> WM, 700219 REMOVING AND REINSTALLING FRONT TRIM PANEL (ENGINE COMPARTMENT)
- Loosen torque support at the bracket and swivel it upwards.
- Remove primary catalytic converter for bank 1.
> Removing and installing primary catalytic converter (V6 biturbo)
- Remove all-wheel final drive.
> Removing and installing all-wheel final drive (V6)
- Remove engine mount.
> Removing and reinstalling engine mount
- Remove catalytic converter for bank 2.
> Removing and installing catalytic converter (V6 BT)
- Remove heat shield for high-pressure pump.
> Removing and installing high-pressure pump
- Remove front trim panel (engine compartment).
> WM, 700219 REMOVING AND REINSTALLING FRONT TRIM PANEL (ENGINE COMPARTMENT)
- Loosen torque support at the bracket and swivel it upwards.
