Securing Main Wire Harness Under Dashboard
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
- First lay the main wire harness loosely under the dashboard and in the centre console, ensuring that it is positioned correctly.
- Pull electric wire harnesses for the engine compartment through the relevant cut-outs.
- Secure cable ducts.
- Secure main wire harness under the dashboard and in the centre console as well as electric lines coming from it.
- Plug in control units and electric plug connections until they engage securely.
- Screw in and tighten screws -3-
in holder for electric wire harness for A-pillar at the roof -1-
> Tightening torque 3.7 Nm (2.7 ftlb.)
Screwing in and tightening screws in holder for electric line for A-pillar
- Screw in and tighten nut -2-
on ground line for A-pillar at the left -1-
> Tightening torque 7 Nm (5 ftlb.)
Screwing in and tightening nut on ground line for A-pillar at the left
- Screw in and tighten nut -2-
in holder for mounting for electric plug connections -1-
on A-pillar at the left > Tightening torque 4.2 Nm (3.2 ftlb.)
Screwing in and tightening nut in holder for mounting for electric plug connections on A-pillar at the left
- Screw in and tighten nut -2-
on ground line for A-pillar at the right -1-
> Tightening torque 7 Nm (5 ftlb.)
Screwing in and tightening nut on ground line for A-pillar at the right
- Screw in and tighten nut -2-
in holder for electric plug connections -1-
on A-pillar at the right > Tightening torque 4.2 Nm (3.2 ftlb.)
