Installing Catalytic Converter

1. 1.1 Carefully lever out the seal using a screwdriver and insert new seal.

   V-band clamp seal

1. 2.1 Carefully insert catalytic converter -4-  at the relevant side.

   Make sure not to damage the heat shields. 

2. 2.2 Only for catalytic converter on cylinder bank 2:  Fit catalytic converter holder.
   1. 2.2.1 Fit holder -3-  and screw in and tighten screws -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) 

3. 2.3 Screw in and tighten screw -1-  .

   > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

   Catalytic converters with holder

1. 3.1 Position new  V-band clamp -2-  and tighten screw -1-  .

   > Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 ftlb.) +/- 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.)
