Removing DME Control Unit

NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
- Remove retaining clip -2-
from DME control unit holder.
Removing line clip
- Remove cable holder for electric wire harness -3-
and unclip wire harness from DME control unit holder -arrows-
.
Unclipping electric wire harness
- Unscrew screws -4-
and guide holder -5-
with DME control unit -1-
out of the bracket.IMPORTANT: Danger of injury from sharp edges on holder.
Unscrewing screws
- Release and disconnect electric plug connections -6-
on the DME control unit -1-

Releasing and pulling off electric plug connections
- Unscrew screws -7- and remove DME control unit -1- from the holder -5- .
