Installing All-Wheel Final Drive

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Observe specified tightening torques and tightening sequence. Fit a new circlip.
    1. 1.1 Clean input flange on all-wheel final drive and connecting shaft at the splines and apply a light coating of new assembly paste  (see PET).
    2. 1.2 All-wheel final drive - observe tightening sequence 

      > Tightening torque 54 Nm (40 ftlb.) 

    3. 1.3 Console

      > Tightening torque 54 Nm (40 ftlb.) 

    4. 1.4 Engine carrier to engine

      > Initial tightening 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) 

      > Final tightening + 90° 

    5. 1.5 Engine mount to engine carrier

      > Tightening torque 55 Nm (41 ftlb.)
