WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2023 Porsche Panamera and 2022 Porsche Panamera. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Information

The lid lock does not have an emergency release.

When working in the front apron area and on parts of the lock, carry out the following function test before closing the lid:

  1. Check that the release cable is clipped fully into the bracket.
  2. Lock lower part of lock using a screwdriver.
  3. Release the lid lock using the lever in the passenger compartment.
  4. Perform a visual inspection to check that the lock releases correctly.
