- Drill bore hole -2-

Bore hole in lock cover
- 1.1 Protect adjacent trim panel from damage.
Affix adhesive tape to the area.
- 1.2 Mark bore hole > Distance 30 mm
Information
Drill carefully; components lying behind it, such as cables, can be damaged.
- 1.3 Also drill through lock cover > Diameter 12 mm .
- 1.1 Protect adjacent trim panel from damage.
- Release lock.
Release
- 2.1 Insert screwdriver -2- into the bore hole.
- 2.2 Probe the release -3- with a screwdriver and engage the screwdriver.
- 2.3 Move screwdriver in direction -arrow A-
. Release -3-
turns in direction -arrow B-

Lock unlocks audibly.
- Open the cover from outside.
