Removing Upper Part Of B-Pillar Trim Panel

Information 

To reduce the forces during removal and thereby the risk of damage, a suitable tool must be used as a support during removal at accessible connection points.

Information 

• Move belt adjustment cover panel to its upper end position. 
• Set belt adjustment to upper end position. 

1. Unclip upper part of B-pillar trim panel -1-  at the sides -arrows-  .

2. Unclip upper part of B-pillar trim panel -1-  by pulling it towards the centre of the vehicle.

   • When swivelling out the upper part of the B-pillar trim panel -1- , make sure not to damage the guide lugs -2 and 3- . 
3. Swivel out upper part of B-pillar trim panel -1-  and remove it by pulling it downwards.

4. Feed the seat belt through the opening in the belt adjustment cover panel.
