Removing Auxiliary Heating Control Unit

NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
Information
Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
- Do not remove new part from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation and only at the installation position.
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.
- Unclip cover -1-

Unclipping cover
- Unclip electric wire harness -1-
.
Unclipping electric wire harness
- Unscrew screws -1-
and remove cover -2-
.
Unscrewing screws
- Release and disconnect connector on the control unit.
- Unclip both connector holders on the heater holder.
- Remove auxiliary heating control unit.
