Checking And Topping Up Oil For All-Wheel Final Drive

WARNING: Hot fluid

Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Place a drip pan underneath.
Unscrew and remove oil filler screw -1- .
Information

Use only oil approved by Porsche.
Use > VAS 6563 - Manual metering pumps, Porsche set to fill in oil up to the lower edge of the oil filler screw opening -1- .
Information

The help of another person is required.
With the inspection opening open, turn both front wheels evenly several times.¹⁾
¹⁾ The oil level depends on the differential position.
Remove emerging oil.
Screw in oil filler screw -1- with a new sealing ring and tighten it > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
