Removing Rear Lock Upper Part (Sport Turismo)

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed
→ Do not reach into the danger area.

→ Secure the system to prevent it from being activated accidentally.

→ Keep third parties away from the danger area.

Information

When removing the upper part of the lock using a closing aid, first disconnect the plug connection for the power supply.
This prevents the closing aid motor from starting up while you are disconnecting the plug connection/control system.

Switch off ignition and remove remote control.
Remove foam cover -1- .

Remove rear lock upper part -3- .

Rear lock upper part

3.1 Remove foam section -1- . -Arrow-
3.2 Unscrew screws -2- .
3.3 Release electric plug connection and disconnect it from upper part of rear lock.
3.4 Disengage bowden cable -4- .

1. 3.4.1 Unclip bowden cable -4- at the holder -5- .
2. 3.4.2 Disengage bowden cable -4- from rear lock upper part -2- .
3.5 Remove rear lock upper part -3- . -Arrow-
