Removing Oil Guide Housing

WARNING: Toxic substances 
  • Danger of poisoning or suffocation 
  • Danger of burns to the eyes and skin 

    → Ventilate the work area well.

    → Never ingest or inhale.

    → Read specific information on the Hazard Sheet.

    → Wear personal protective gear.

    → Do not smoke, eat or drink in the work area.

WARNING: Hot fluid 
  • Danger of scalding 

    → Let the fluid cool down.

    → Wear personal protective gear.

WARNING: Highly inflammable or explosive materials 
  • Danger of fire or explosion 

    → Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.

    → Use suction to remove ignitable vapors.

    → Attach warning sign in a clearly visible position.

    → Contain leaked media using non-flammable absorbent material and put it in a container designed for this purpose for disposal in accordance with local requirements.

    → Secure collection containers/vessels to prevent them from tipping over.

  1. Remove shaft cover -1-  on both sides of the engine.
    1. 1.1 Unscrew screws -2-  .
    2. 1.2 Remove shaft cover -1-  .

  2. Remove pipe for drive shaft -1-  .
    1. 2.1 Remove O-ring -2-  on both sides of the engine.
    2. 2.2 Press pipe for drive shaft -1-  through from one side using a suitable tool and guide it out on the opposite side.

  3. Remove oil intake tube -1-  .
    1. 3.1 Unscrew and remove screw -2-  .
    2. 3.2 Pull oil intake tube -1-  off the oil pump.

  4. Expose electric wire harness -2-  (-arrows-  ).
    1. 4.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .
    2. 4.2 Expose electric wire harness -2-  (-arrows-  ) and set it aside.

  5. Unscrew screws -21 to 20-  in descending sequence.

  6. Unscrew screws -19 to 1-  in descending sequence.

    Information 

    To prevent dirt from getting into the lubrication system, open parts of the engine must be covered.

  7. Remove oil guide housing -1-  .
    1. 7.1 Screw in screws -2-  as far as they will go.
    2. 7.2 Screw in screws -2-  crosswise by half a turn until the oil guide housing -1-  is released.
    3. 7.3 Unscrew screws -2-  and remove oil guide housing -1-  .
