Bedding In Brake Pads And Brake Discs

Information
- Replace brake discs once the maximum wear dimension has been reached.
- Re-machining of brake discs is not permitted!
New brake pads need a bedding-in time of about 200 km (125 miles)! Only then do they achieve their best friction coefficient and wear values.
- During this time, the brakes should be subjected to full stress when travelling at high speed only in emergencies.
- The slightly reduced braking effect must be compensated for by increased pressure on the brake pedal.
- The same also applies after replacing the brake discs.
