- Observe safety instructions when working on the fuel system.
- Connect a battery charger.
- Attach or mount a warning sign -1-
in a clearly visible position on the vehicle.
Example of warning sign when working on the fuel system
- Only when draining the fuel using the PI WIS Tester:
Disconnect supply line at the connection point on the underbody.
- Only when draining the fuel using a fuel transfer unit:
Disconnect fuel pump.
