Disconnect Battery

Information 

Switch off all loads and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 2 metres/6 feet).

• Do not disconnect the battery while the engine is running. 
• Disconnect and re-connect battery with extreme caution. 

Information 

The battery is located in the luggage compartment under the storage floor.

1. Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
2. Switch off electrical loads.
3. Remove luggage compartment floor.
4. Remove collapsible wheel, if necessary.
5. Lift carpet -1-  .
6. Disengage cover -2-  and fold it forward.

7. Risk of short circuit! Disconnect the ground line at the battery!

   Ground line terminal clamps on battery terminal

   1. 7.1  Open cover -1-  on the negative terminal.
   2. 7.2  Loosen terminal clamp -2-  for the ground line from the negative terminal.
   3. 7.3  Insulate terminal clamp or route ground line to prevent any contact with the negative terminal!
