Securing Engine On Assembly Support

    1. → Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
CAUTION: Heavy components

    1. → Wear personal protective gear.
    2. → Get someone to help if necessary.

Information 

  1. 2024A - Lifting tackle  must be engaged at the engine and at the VAS 6100 - workshop crane  .
  2. Secure the engine at the transmission side on the VAS 6095A - engine and gearbox support  .

    Engine on engine support

    1. 2.1  Secure sleeve -1-  using a nut and washer -Arrow-  .
    2. 2.2  Secure sleeves -2 to 4-  on the crankcase.
    3. 2.3  Secure sleeve -5-  at the oil guide housing (upper part of oil pan) -6-  .
    4. 2.4  Secure sleeves -1 to 5-  on the universal mount with screws.
    5. 2.5  Position engine using VAS 6100 - workshop crane  on VAS 6095A - engine and gearbox support  and secure it.
