Preliminary Work

  1. Drain refrigerant.

    > 870317 - DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R1234YF

    > 870317 - DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R134A

  2. Drain ATF.

    > 370255 - CHANGING ATF

  3. Disconnect ground terminal of vehicle electrical system battery.

    > 270619 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM BATTERY

  4. Secure front lid in service position.

    >552213 - SECURING FRONT LID (SERVICE POSITION)  , Refer to the appropriate service information.

  5. Remove engine cover (design cover).

    > 108319 - REMOVE AND INSTALL ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER) (R4) 

  6. Remove front strut.

    > 408619 - REMOVE AND INSTALL FRONT STRUT

  7. Remove cowl panel cover.

    > 508719 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING COWL PANEL COVER  , Refer to the appropriate service information.

  8. Remove filler neck from windscreen-washer reservoir.

    > 926019 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING WINDSCREEN-WASHER RESERVOIR

  9. Remove cross panel.

    > 508119 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING CROSS PANEL (DISASSEMBLING PLENUM PANEL)  , Refer to the appropriate service information.

  10. Remove air cleaner housing.

    > 242519 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR CLEANER HOUSING (R4)

  11. Remove front wheels.

    > 440519 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL

  12. Remove front wheel housing liners.

    > 505619 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER  , Refer to the appropriate service information.

  13. Remove cover for front underbody.

    > 519219 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY  , Refer to the appropriate service information.

  14. Remove cover for centre underbody.

    > 519319 - REMOVE AND INSTALL COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY  , Refer to the appropriate service information.

  15. Remove particle filter.

    > 267419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PARTICLE FILTER (R4)

  16. Remove catalytic converter.

    > WM, 267319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER WITHOUT PARTICLE FILTER (R4) / WM, 267319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER WITH PARTICLE FILTER (R4)

  17. Remove cooling fan housing.

    > 192019 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING COOLING FAN HOUSING (R4)

  18. Remove drive belt.

    > 137819 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING DRIVE BELT (R4)

  19. Drain coolant.

    > 193817 - DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT (R4)

  20. Remove DME control unit.

    > 247019 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING DME CONTROL UNIT

  21. Remove evaporator/compressor line and immediately close off connection openings using suitable Stoppers.

    > 874519 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING EVAPORATOR/COMPRESSOR LINE
