Removing Crankshaft

Information 

You will need a second mechanic to help you with this step.

1. Remove crankshaft.

   Crankshaft

   1. 1.1  Unscrew screws on crankshaft bearing covers -A -  .
      1. 1.1.1  Replace screws.
   2. 1.2  Unscrew screws on crankshaft bearing covers -10 to 1-  .
      1. 1.2.1  Replace screws.
      2. 1.3  Pull crankshaft bearing covers off the cylinder block.
      3. 1.4  Remove crankshaft from the cylinder block with the help of another person and set it down on a clean surface.
      4. 1.5  Remove bearing shells and store them together with the bearing covers so that they cannot get mixed up.
