Removing Control Unit For Electric Parking Brake

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 
  1. → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
  2. → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 

1. Unclip control unit for electric parking brake -1-  from holder -2-  , disengage it and pull it out -Arrow-  .

2. Release electric plug connection -1-  -arrow a- and disconnect it -arrow b-  .
