Installing Height Adjustment Control Unit

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

   Tighten fastening screw to > Tightening torque 2 Nm  .

Subsequent work 

1. Install steering column centre.

   > 481519 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING STEERING COLUMN CENTRE 

2. If the height adjustment control unit was replaced, the height adjustment control unit must be adapted to suit the vehicle using the PIWIS Tester.

   > 483055 - REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR STEERING COLUMN ADJUSTMENT
