Preparing Component - New Component Without Adhesive Bead
- Clean the bonding area on the component using a cleaning cloth from the adhesive set.
Cleaning cloth
- Let cleaning agent air dry for 10 minutes.
Cleaning agent drying time
- Shake primer for 2 minutes. The steel ball must be clearly heard and felt moving inside the primer cartridge.
Primer
- Apply a single coat of primer from the adhesive set in the bonding area on the component in one movement using the applicator brush.
Primer component
- Let air dry for 15 minutes.
Primer drying time
- If a drying time of 8 hours is exceeded: Primer may be applied again only once and within 96 hours of applying the first coat of primer. Primed bonding surfaces must be protected from external influences and dirt during this period. Let primer air dry for 15 minutes again.
