Installing Air Guide For Brake Disc

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

Information 

• The clamp for the brake-disc air guide cannot be removed without damaging it irreparably. 
• Replace clip after removal (spare part available in the Porsche spare parts catalogue). 

1. Install new air guide for brake disc -1-  .

   Brake disc air guide

   1. 1.1 Push the brake disc air guide onto the tie-rod ball from the front. Check position of the lock nut for the tie-rod ball in the cut-out for the air guide.
   2. 1.2 Insert new clamp -3-  .
   3. 1.3 Use test lugs -2-  to check that it has engaged correctly.
