Greasing the spindle
- Before removing and installing each spring, grease the spindle -2- at - the front with a light coating of the supplied grease -1- .
- Only grease the spindle using the supplied lubricant. Other types of lubricant will damage the spindle.

Inserting the spreader device prevents the axle from moving upwards when tensioning the coil spring and this makes it easier to install.
- Always remove the spreader device from the vehicle after installing the coil spring.

Before tensioning the coil spring, check that the pressure plates are seated correctly.
