Mounting Double Clutch Transmission

WARNING:
Danger of objects or loads falling down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
- Check that the intermediate plate on the joint flange is engaged and pushed onto the dowel sleeves -1-
. Replace missing dowel sleeves -1-
if necessary.
Dowel sleeves
- Check that the locking element of the starter -1-
is inserted correctly and move it into installation position if necessary -Arrows-
.

- Fit double clutch transmission.
- 3.1 Screw in screws on double clutch transmission -1 to 5- as far as they will go by hand.
- 3.2
Tighten screws on double clutch transmission -1 and 2-.
> Initial - tightening 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 105°
- 3.3
Tighten screw on double clutch transmission -3-.
> Initial - tightening 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 105°
- 3.4
Tighten screw on double clutch transmission -5-.
> Initial - tightening 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 105°
- 3.5
Tighten screws on double clutch transmission -4-.
> Initial - tightening 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 105°

Flange screws securing engine to transmission
- Secure the starter
- > T40294 - Hook and support tool must new be retrieved
- Tighten new screws on drive plate.
