Information
- ATF temperature must be read out with PIWIS Tester.
- The ATF temperature must not be higher than 30°C at the beginning of the ATF test.
- The ATF level changes as the ATF temperature changes.
- ATF inspection must be performed when the engine is running and the selector-lever position is in P.
- An ATF test performed when the ATF temperature is too low will result in overfilling.
- An ATF test performed when the temperature is too high will result in insufficient filling.
- An ATF level that is too high or too low will impair the function of the transmission.
- Start the engine, read off the ATF temperature using the PIWIS Tester and leave it running at idle speed (selector lever in position P).
- Place the oil collection pan under the transmission.
Information
Only use oil approved by Porsche in the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), see Parts Informationue.
- Fill manual metering pump from > VAS 6563 - transmission fluid filler pump set. Porsche set with ATF.
Information
- The ATF level is checked at the ATF inspection plug.
- The ATF level is correct if a small amount of fluid still emerges at the ATF inspection plug at an ATF temperature of between 30° and 50°C.
Information
- The ATF inspection plug must be closed again at 50°C at the latest.
- Switch off the engine if necessary, let the transmission cool down and repeat the test.
- Check and top up ATF.
- 4.1 When an ATF temperature of 30°C is reached, unscrew the ATF inspection plug -1- .
- 4.2 If ATF leaks out of the ATF inspection opening before the ATF has reached 40°C: ATF level is OK.
- 4.3 If no ATF leaks out before it has reached 40°C:
Add ATF using the manual metering pump until ATF leaks out.
