Preliminary Work

  1. Remove engine cover (design cover).
    • 108319 Removing and installing engine cover (design cover) 
  2. Remove air cleaner housing.
    • 242519 Removing and installing air cleaner housing 
  3. Remove front strut.
    • 408619 Remove and install front strut 
  4. V6 Turbo only: 

    Disconnect pressure hose from throttle housing.

    • 244219 Removing and installing throttle housing 
  5. Only for R4: 

    Loosen the pressure pipe from the body and pressure hose on the engine side.

    • 214119 Remove and install pressure pipe (R4)
