Preliminary Work

Information 

The fore-and-aft adjustment must be brought to the fully extended position for the electrically adjustable steering column.

The vertical adjustment must be moved to the centre position. This will improve access to the fastening screws on the mounting bracket.

1. Remove knee airbag.

2. Remove steering-column switch.

3. Remove front footwell outlet vent on driver's side.
