Installing Centre Air Vent

Information 

If the air vent was replaced, it must be taught using the PIWIS Tester. 

1. Install centre air vent -1-  .

   1. 1.1  Connect and lock electric plug connections -3-  .
   2. 1.2  Insert centre air vent -1-  .
2. Only if an air vent was replaced: 
   1. 2.1  Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle and switch on the PIWIS Tester.
   2. 2.2  Switch on the ignition.
   3. 2.3  Start diagnostics.
   4. 2.4  Select "Air conditioning" control unit.
   5. 2.5  Select the Maintenance/repairs tab.
   6. 2.6  Select the menu item "Teach flap limit stops of LIN servo motors" and press F12 to continue.
   7. 2.7  Optional: Select the sub-procedure "The limit stops of the air flap servo motors are taught with the following procedure" and press F12 to continue.
   8. 2.8  Follow the instructions on the Tester.
