Installing Heating/Fresh-Air Unit (Air Intake Tract)

Air intake tract

1. 1.1  Position air intake tract in the footwell and engage holder -5-  .
2. 1.2  Push on and lock electric plug connections for servo motors -4-  .
3. 1.3  Swivel the air intake tract -1-  up.
4. 1.4  Lock locking mechanism -3-  .
5. 1.5  Clip in wiring harness -2-  .

Air intake tract holder

1. 2.1  Position air intake tract holder -1-
2. 2.2  Screw in and tighten screws -3-  .
   • Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 
3. 2.3  Screw in and tighten screw -2-  .
   • Tightening torque 3.6 Nm (2.6 ftlb.)

Air guide for right dashboard vent

1. 4.1  Position air duct for the right dashboard vent -1-  in the footwell.
2. 4.2  Clip in air duct for the right dashboard vent -1-  on the right dashboard vent and heating/fresh-air unit.
3. 4.3  Screw in and tighten screw -2-  .
   • Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.)
