Lifting The Vehicle

Information 

When driving onto the lifting platform, pay particular attention to the following:

• Sufficient distance between the lifting platform and vehicle. 
• For work in the front footwell, raise the vehicle in such a way that the doors can be opened wide enough. 

1. Drive vehicle onto the lifting platform.
2. On vehicles with air suspension/levelling system: Switch off the levelling system.

   1. 2.1 Switch on the ignition.
   2. 2.2 Press and hold the levelling system button until the message >>Levelling system switched off<< appears on the instrument cluster. > Levelling system button 
   3. 2.3 Switch off the ignition.
   WARNING: Vehicle can fall down 

   • Risk of squashing or crushing 
   • Risk of damage to the vehicle 

     → Do not place any solid objects under the raised vehicle.

     → Ensure that the lifting platform is prevented from lowering.

     → Remove solid objects before lowering the vehicle.

     → Raise the vehicle only at the take-up points provided.

3. Raise the vehicle at the four jacking points -1-  .
