Removing Intake Manifold

Fastening bolts

• Loosen and tighten fastening bolts only in the specified direction. 
• Turn fastening bolts by max. 90°, otherwise the guide lugs will break off. 
• Replace damaged fastening bolts. 

1. Remove upper part of air cleaner housing -1-  .

   1. 1.1  Unscrew screws -2-  .
   2. 1.2  Remove upper part of air cleaner housing -1-  .
2. Disconnect intake manifold -1-  from air cleaner housing.

   1. 2.1  Press fastening bolts -2-  down slightly and turn 90° in -direction of arrow-  .
   2. 2.2  Pull out loosened fastening bolts -2-  .
   3. 2.3  Pull intake manifold -1-  off the air cleaner housing.
3. Remove intake manifold -1-  .

   Intake manifold

   1. 3.1  Disconnect vacuum hose -2-  from vacuum connection -3-  .
   2. 3.2  Loosen spring band clamp -4-  .
   3. 3.3  Remove intake pipe -1-  .
