Installing Radiator

Information 

1. Grease O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel. 

1. Replace seals on coolant hoses at the top and bottom.
2. Install the radiator -1-  .

   Radiator

   1. 2.1  Position the radiator -1-  .
   2. 2.2  Fit and tighten screws for the radiator bracket -2-  .
      1. Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.) 
3. Install upper coolant hose -1-  and return line -2-  on the radiator -3-  .

   Upper coolant hose

   1. 3.1  Remove stoppers from line connections.
   2. 3.2  Push on return line -2-  and lock quick-connecting lock -5-  .
   3. 3.3  Push on upper coolant hose -1-  ana lock safety clip -4-  .
4. Install front section of ATF cooling line -1-  .

   ATF cooling line - front section

   1. 4.1  Remove stoppers from line connections.
   2. 4.2  Position front section of the ATF cooling line -1-  .
   3. 4.3  Fit and tighten screws for ATF lines -2 and 3-  .
      1. Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.) 
5. Install lower coolant hose -1-  on radiator -2-  .

   Lower coolant hose

   1. 5.1  Fit lower coolant hose -1-  and lock safety clip -3-  .
6. Connect and lock cable plugs for fan motors -1-  .

7. Install pedestrian protection -1-  .

   Pedestrian protection, bottom

   1. 7.1  Tighten screws on pedestrian protection -3-  .
      1. Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) 
   2. 7.2  Tighten screws on pedestrian protection -2-  .
      1. Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3.25 ftlb.)
