Removing Control Unit For Memory Seat Adjustment

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 
  1. → Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 

1. Release clip -1- (-a-)  , swivel it aside -b-  and remove electric plug connection from the control unit for memory seat adjustment -2-  .

2. Release electric plug connection -3- (-c-)  and disconnect it from the control unit for memory seat adjustment.

3. Release electric plug connection -1- (-a-)  and pull it off the control unit for memory seat adjustment -2-  .

4. Disengage control unit for memory seat adjustment -1-  by moving it forward out of the holder -2-  and remove it.
