Remove rear backrest.
- WM, 724719 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR BACKREST
Unclip outer mount for rear backrest on backrest side -1- using a plastic wedge -2- .

Pull cover for backrest lock -1- off the backrest -2- (-Arrow-) .

Cover for backrest lock
Pull off cover for backrest locking mechanism -1- in an upward direction using a suitable tool (e.g. a hook) -2- (-Arrow-) .

Cover on locking mechanism for backrest
Loosen cover close to the backrest lock and close to the cover for the locking mechanism.
Loosen screws -1- and remove lock for rear backrest -2- . Replace screws.
