Removing Lock For Rear Backrest At The Centre

Loosen clip fastenings -1- in the lower area of the front trim cover -2- using a plastic wedge -3- and remove front trim cover by lifting it up -Arrows- .

Pull cover for backrest lock -1- off the load-through provision -2- (-Arrow-) .

Loosen cover piping in the top and side area (-marking-) .

Remove upper trim panel on load-through provision.

4.1 Unscrew two screws -1- .

4.2 Fold down cover -Arrows- .
4.3 Loosen two screws -2- and fold upper trim panel upwards.

4.4 Disengage operating cable for lock for rear backrest at the centre.

4.4.1 Disengage operating cable at the seat belt mount -Arrow- .

4.4.2 Disengage operating cable at the clips -1 and 2- .

Loosen screws -1- for backrest lock -2- and remove backrest lock. Fit new screws.
