Installing Lock For Rear Backrest At The Centre

Position lock for rear backrest -2- and tighten to > Tightening - torque 26 Nm (19 ftlb.) . using new screws -1- .

Install upper trim panel on load-through provision.

2.1 Engage operating cable for lock for rear backrest at the centre.

2.1.1 Engage operating cable at the seat belt mount -Arrow- .

2.1.2 Engage operating cable at the clips -1 and 2- .

2.2 Tighten screws -1,_ 2, _3, _4_- to > Tightening - torque 3.5 Nm (2.5 ftlb.) .

2.3 Press cover piping into the retaining strips all the way around.

Fit cover on backrest lock -1- at the sides and press it on securely -Arrow- .

Cover for lock
Install front trim cover -1- on the load-through provision -2- in such a way that the clip fastenings lock with an audible click in the lower area -Arrows- .
