Safety Regulations For Extraction And Filling Systems

WARNING: Incorrect handling of air conditioning servicing equipment. 
  • Unnecessary damage to the environment due to emerging refrigerant. 
    1. → Before connecting the filling system to the air-conditioning system, make sure that the manual shut-off valves are closed.
    2. → Before disconnecting the filling system from the air-conditioning system, make sure that the process is complete so that no refrigerant can escape into the atmosphere.
    3. → After the purified refrigerant has been filled into an external compressed gas bottle from the filling system, the manual shut-off valves on the bottle and on the filling system should be closed.
    4. → Do not expose the filling system to moisture or use in a damp environment.
    5. → Shut off the power supply at the filling system before carrying out maintenance work.
    6. → An extension cable with cross-sectional area of at least 2.5 mm2 should be used only when absolutely necessary.
    7. → In the case of fire, the external bottle should be removed.
    8. → Fill the oil extracted from the air-conditioning system into a suitable closable container (the refrigerant oil contains small quantities of refrigerant).
    9. → The filling system must be secured to prevent it from rolling away.
    10. → Set down and use the air conditioning servicing equipment with refrigerant R1234yf only in cool, well-ventilated places.
    11. → Protect from heat and direct sunlight and do not set down and use in areas with temperatures above 50°C.
    12. → Do not set down and use in or near cellars or other lower-lying areas.
    13. → Only set down and use in areas with adequate air flow (complete air exchange at least once per hour in the workshop area and 3 times per hour in lower-lying areas, e.g. in assembly groups).
