Securing Front Brake Calliper

1. Remove fastening element -2-  and remove front brake calliper -1-  .

2. Secure front brake calliper -1-  .

   Screws for front brake calliper

   1. 2.1 Position front brake calliper -1-  on wheel bearing housing.
   2. 2.2 Replace front brake calliper screws -2-  .
   3. 2.3 Screw in and tighten new screws on front brake calliper -2-  .

      Grey cast iron (18-inch): 

      > Initial - tightening 30 Nm (22 ftlb.) 

      > Final tightening + 90° 

      PCCB: 

      > Initial - tightening 30 Nm (22 ftlb.) 

      > Final tightening + 90° 

3. Carefully insert contact for brake pad wear indicator -1-  and secure electric line -2-  to the bleeder valve cover at the brake calliper -3-  .

4. Secure brake line holder -1-  on wheel bearing housing.

   Brake line holder

   1. 4.1 Fit brake line holder -1-  .
   2. 4.2 Screw in and tighten screw on brake line holder -2-  .

      > Tightening - torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

5. Position disc brake pads by pressing the brake pedal several times.
6. Check brake fluid level in the reservoir -Arrow-  and correct it if necessary.
