Removing Crankshaft Sealing Ring - Belt Side

T40019 - sealing ring extractor-1-
.
Sealing ring extractor
- 1.1 Set the inner part of the > T40019 - sealing ring extractor-1- so that it is flush with the outer part and lock inner part using the knurled screw.
- 1.2 Oil the threaded head of the > T40019 - sealing ring extractor-1- , fit it and use sufficient force to screw it as far as possible into the sealing ring.
- 1.3 Loosen the knurled screw and turn the inner part against the crankshaft until the crankshaft sealing ring (belt side) is removed.
- 1.4 > T40019 - Sealing ring extractor-1- must be clamped on the flattened areas in a vice. Then, remove crankshaft sealing ring (on belt side) using pliers.
- Carefully clean running and sealing faces.
