Disassembling Rear Shock Absorber (Conventional)

  1. Pull protection cap off the spring-strut mount.
  2. Unscrew nut using ratchet -1-  and > T10001 - shock absorber set-2 to 4-  and counter at the hexagon on the piston rod at the same time.

    Nut on piston rod (conventional)

    1. Ratchet (commercially available)
    2. T10001/9  Extension with counter-hold tool
    3. T10001/11  Change-over ratchet
    4. T10001/1  Socket-wrench insert
  3. Remove spring-strut mount with rubber stop and boot.
  4. Pull rubber stop out of the spring-strut mount and boot.
